Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHopefully someone from Sky can pick this up, but landscape tiles on Sky Q for any Sky Documentaries content has a green background.
Or can another Q user check to see if it is just me?
It looks like someone has uploaded a jpg instead of png file 😁

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreWell, this seems to have been resolved.
I have gone through all the same screens as before and the green bar has gone.
It may have just resolved itself, but if anyone did anything at the back end to fix it, thanks! 👍🏻

Graphic glitches are often fixed with a box reboot...

Posted by a Sky employeeHi @stereohaven, seems alright here but how are you navigating to this page?

It happens wherever there is a landscape Sky Documentaries logo, including the hero image. It doesn't affect anything in portrait.
Couple of examples, you have released a "Best of Sky" promo tile, if I navigate to it on the home screen then this is what I see whenever I look at Sky Documentaries content:
Note it also affects the hero image.
If I go Home > Catch up TV > Sky channels I get the same:
And even if the portrait tile is OK, the hero image is still affected, no matter where in the menu I access it from:
Must be a box issue if no one else is seeing it? It is the same problem on our Sky Q mini box as well.
I have completed 2 full power cycles but nothing has changed, no other issues with the box and it is fully up to date as far as I can tell.
This isn't detrimental to our viewing, just weird! 🤣

As per your OP the issue seems to be with the specific overlay itself - whilst probably not a 'PNG/JPG crossover', it would seem the transparent colour is 'corrupt'. (Possibly a random issue when it was downloaded)
My guess would be these are cached once downloaded and the problem is unlikely to go away on its own.
As it doesn't affect viewing I doubt there's a lot that can be done.

Posted by a Sky employeeThanks @stereohaven, I can't replicate it in the office but will send it on. Is your software running release 26?

A full power cycle cleared it until the box was next taken out of standby.
Weird, but not the worst problem I've ever had.

Posted by a Sky employeeHey @stereohaven, very weird. Is it just the same as before? Can you PM me with your serial number of the Q? 🙂

I would say some corruption is happening as marked in the picture below:

@cuke Yeah, I suspect some sort of local storage issue at a guess, but so weird how it only ever affects picture assets for one channel.
