Skq Q box noise

Had sky Q fitted on 5th december, last few days started humming which is getting louder and very irritating. also unit is hot  when in standby  and not recording, just not impressed and the thing will go in the bin at this rate. took a month to be fitted after hd box failed and now this

If your box continues to be noisy then Sky should offer a free replacement. This will normally be sent via courier for you to swap on the doorstep. If you do this then remember to remove your viewing card from the old box and make sure you get the correct power supply with the new box.

There are a few versions of Sky Q boxes. and some do make a slight humming sound which can be irritating. Also those that don't have an external power supply get quite warm but this is normal.
