I have to regularly restart my Q boxes due to TV Guide not populating correctly and unplugging it is a pain in the backside I have search and said how to RESTART Q boxes on here before but I thought I'd do a dedicated post so here is a way to do it.
to RESTART THE MAIN Q box choose the following on screen options in order.
- Select help
- Select to view all help
- Fix a problem
- No satellite Signal
- Continue
- RESART NOW
note Sky Q mini boxes don't deal with satellite signals so don't have this option. I think there was a way but I can't remember it atm.
I have asked Sky repeatedly to add it as a menu option by itself or even in the installer menu as it's clearly possible and would solve so many issues and is a good accessibility feature to have.
