Replacement sky hdmi lead
How do I acquire an extra long sky hdmi lead? It is for a q box in a bedroom but it will need to be chased into the wall, hence needs to be extra long,
thanks

you can get them from lots of places including the big online store. - although HDMI v 1.4 is OK for HD (max from a SKy Mini) personally I would still suggest you get an HDMi 2.0 certified cable.
No need to pay a fortune even for long cables

Assume this is for a mini box.
Long leads (over 3 meters) can cause issues if you are using UHD. As this is only available on the main Q box it's not highly critical with a mini.
Depends what you mean by Extra long.
Certainly best if you can can chase in trunking and not the lead directly so you can easily replace the lead if there are issues. Trunking size needs to be large enough to accommodate the HDMI end connectors.

Always test before plastering. Running cable in a duct is preferable.
Note that if you ever moved to Sky Stream then you'd want 'high speed' cable at three metres max for UHD.
