I am just out of contract and my monthly costs has escalated to £53.50 per month! How can I contact sky to get a new contract at a more competitive monthly cost? I know of individuals who are paying around £22per month for the same package, but cannot find a route to speak to Sky. Any help would be gratefully received

You'll get the option to have a live messenger chat with Sky or the phone number to call them will be revealed.
Be aware that offers for re-contracting aren't as good as they once were. Many customers now struggle to get a 'deal' like they used to be able to do every 18 months. Now that contracts are 24 months long you may get a bit of a discount, but don't expect much.
Better offers tend to come if you actually give your 31 days notice to cancel and then wait for the retentions department to contact you, or you can contact them to see what deals are available.

Wow what package do you have for that price
Mine is 95 currently. Received email as contract due to expire August saying increase in total to 143.50!

It's only sports packages which send Sky TV bills into silly money territory. It's very easy to not pay very much for a TV service if you're not into sport. I pay around £26pm for my service.
