We have our main Sky Q box in the living room and a sky Q mini box in the kitchen. Essentially they are back to back (separated by a wall) and from time to time (several times a day) if we press the power or home button on the remote in the living room (main box) it will also turn on the mini box in the kitchen.
Whilst this is helping us to get our steps in - it's really annoying (and doesn't happen the other way around) - does anyone know of any way that we can stop this from happening, please?
Thanks 🙂

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out morePut something metallic behind the mini, it should stop the bluetooth signal. I have to say, this doesn't happen to our two minis which are within 4m of each other but obviously paired with different remote controls.

Thank you - based on their message we have tried "a quick fix for this would be to press and hold buttons 7+9 on the remote, then release, then press and hold buttons 1+3 and the remote will pair Bluetooth to the box your closest to"
Fingers crossed this does the trick 🙂

@Greenfingers001 unfortunately the suggested solution hasn't worked. Please can you request for someone else to make contact with next steps?

Then do the reverse with the other remote & box.
