Re: Issues with streaming apps
Hi been having the same nightmare with my mums setup, have done all of the below
turned everything off, tv, box,, internet
reboot, check connections, all connected.
001 refresh all apps x 3
software update
IPlayer lets me login but I get a spinning wheel for days before it does.
Disney spinning wheel no access
Netflix spinning wheel no acces
Apple TV access but no previews and won't play anything.
STV access but no preview windows and won't play anything.
the list goes on......
what's going on Sky, it's hard enough getting my Mum to use this tech, if I'm struggling to make it work with a tech background she has no hope. Maybe announce you are having issues with coding with several streaming sites? At least it's an answer???
look forward to resolving this, I can't get my mum to leave sky she has been too long with it, other services quite frankly seem to have long surpassed your technology but here we are. I would appreciate a response and resolve imminently.

Q has many millions of installations (it's in use by the vast majority of Sky television households in the UK and RoI) so any widespread app failure would cause this forum to detonate: there's been no sign of such a thing recently.
Any individual instance is almost always related to the internet connection arriving at the main Q box, or the link between that box and its Mini box(es) : sometimes there's a local network or wider ISP angle. Alternatively, a failing main Q box can be to blame.
