Q box wont accept correct Hyperoptic password

Newish Q box and mini. Was dropping connection on both, now won't even connect main box. Swapped mini box yesterday - both worked - this morning - neither work and won't connect to Hyperoptic Broadband. Everything else in house connected. Tried reset turning off on after 30

mins - just want it to work. Never been like this in 18 yrs of Sky membership

The main box will only connect over 2.4GHz band.  Ensure your router has this band enabled and doesn't steer to 5GHz as connections will be dropped.  If possible a split set of SSID's is ideal.

Re: Q box wont accept correct Hyperoptic password

Ok, an update

My Hyperoptic router they recommend not splitting the frequencies. Last night the main box sprung into life and connected automatically - I can disable a 5ghz band from the box but haven't yet.

Tonight it's the mini box connection

@Darrin+N as you have a third party internet provider your minis need to connect to your main box by wifi they use a 5GHz mesh created by the main box so using the WPS button on the minis and main box
