Paying for sky hd

I have Sky Q with signature and ultimate tv packages , I also pay for sky Hd, is this necessary with these tv packages?

Depends whether you want to watch in HD or SD

@Amoss3  if you want the entertainment channels in hd then yes otherwise no

but it's a prerequisite if you want uhd content also

If it's a legacy subscription then it may also uplift your netflix account (From basic to standard).

Any sub changes will remove this benefit.  (The uplift is separately charged)

no

the Ultimaate package only add Netflix

Edit BTW : Some Free To Air Channels do not need the HD add on (e.g. BBC)
