Hi, New sky q box, I have sky cinema but when I select confirm in the paramount plus activation I just get a MYSKY 2304 error

Yes, when I confirm as per line 2 of your linked instructions I get the error message

Just found same error with discovery plus as well. I player in sky works fine so internet ok

I have exactly the same issue on a sky q install yesterday with these 2 channels (discovery & paramount +) - I've got TNT sports and cinema so eligible, both show as available for £0 then when I hit confirm they give the same error message.
Sky Q box up to latest firmware and tried refreshing the apps in the hidden menu but no joy.
Seems a recurring issue as lots of posts about it, I was moving over from a sky HD box whcih had access to paramount+ already. My guess is something missing on my account profile but not sure and never seen anybody post a solution or end to how it gets fixed.

I did speak to telephone support on the day of my install to raise this and they opened a ticket.
Nobody contacted me but yesterday evening, 24h after the call I was able to create/link both Discovery+ & Paramount+ accounts from the Q box, so progress - I suspect the necessary flags/rights are being added to my account.
Not quite there yet though because both the apps let me sign in and browse content but give various playback errors - I can though use the newly created accounts on my phone/xbox and view perfectly. Tried refreshing the apps too from the hidden menu but no joy.
So I've got access to the content, just not quite yet seamlessly thru the Sky Q box

Hi,
Just to close this down, spent an hour on the chatline who gave up and told me to ring up. I rang in and had to ignore the useless voicemail selections and eventually spoke to someone who spent another hour gettting me to reset and refresh things without sucess.
Promised a call back but this never happened, seems to be common with SKY
Later that night I tried again for the hell of it and it now let me set it up.
I suspect the sky systems had to play catch up, it all works now but I wasted most of the day without sucesss.
I prefer the SKY + version where it is a menu item rather than an app and I can record a series to watch later but I expect the SKY want everyone streaming.
