I have done a forced software update on the SKY Q Box but it still doesn't work.

Yep, me too I have logged on with my Roku stick so it's not my account but sky q issue.

I got a lot of help from a Sky engineer. Went through many changes but eventually what workrd for me was resetting (not just turning on and of) my Internet Router to force a change of IP address.
