** UPDATE ** 23 JANUARY

I phoned sky today for an update- finally they acknowledge there is an issue and they have a fix - or two- still trying different options- but anyone with an issue should call for more information!

spoke to soon.. hve been riund 5 different people trying to resolve- but keep trying! they are now attemoting to remove sky cinema and adding it again. this may reboot the paramount plus access. I am just checking and will report back., Long story short- when you phone sky- always ask first 'are you aware of the paramount plus incident affecting users on Sky cinema'' - if the person says no! ? ask to speak to someone else.

I spoke with SEVEN people today and none could fix it- serves me right for getting excited. After 55 minutes I gave up and will attempt later if anyone has an update please let us know!!

I called  Mondaywith the same issue. They spent an hour trying to fix it, but they just passed me thru to cancellation team. They had no idea why I was calling, so I said sorry not waiting any more time, and will call back later.  Hour later I get an email saying they've cancelled my packages including sport.  To say I was fuming was an understatement. Little miss stroppy must've been annoyed.

So I got through to someone who can USUALLY cancel and add paramount plus but she couldnt do it due to an error at their side. They have raised a CRF/incident firm and will apparently contact me when resolved or tried to - I know this is ( potentially) a big incident but the response has been ridiculous ! ( from someone who has seen and been on the pointy end of major tech incidents)  keep fighting the good fight people ! And post ANY updates here please

From what I can tell, the CRF form is the first step, so you may get a good result.

Spoke  to sky Sunday- again they acknowledged a major  incident that they are working on it and updates would follow including compensation! So watch this space

I've had the same issue as everyone else on here. Paramount working and then suddenly stops. Can't log back in. Account not recognised and then I called the sky 'tech' team...comedy gold. 2 and half hours later problem not solved. I therefore followed the solution posted earlier. I called sky again. Paid the outstanding market place debt. £9.99. This cleared the market place debt straightaway. It was reflected on the Sky Q box. I then asked to be put through to cancellations. Ended up with a tech advisor. Who was the normal sub standard half wit. After a small argument regarding down grading the package to adverts they raised a CRF. I was told it would take 4-5 days to have the package down graded. I checked the following day on the MySky app on TV. It showed paramount plus was no longer renewal in progress but had been cancelled. I tried to reactivate it but it wouldn't work. I left it another day and went back and tried again through the QR code on the tv. And it worked. My account paired and I was given options of normal, standard & premium account. I selected the premium account and it paired and we are up and running. I updated marketplace with a new card for future billing. Paramount plus is back. It's a billing issue. Not a technical one. Check market place. Check your error message and you'll probably see your card has expired. Update it. Pay the bill over the phone. Downgrade to basic package. Give it a few days and repair your account. 
hopefully someone on here from Sky sees this. Passes it to the tech team to actually fix the problem.

Mate- as per the chats above - it's a big issue and sky are working through it if you need to call them and find out what's going on you can try but again they're dealing with so many. I don't think they have all of the updates so I'm just gonna wait and see at some point, there will be some compensation but different people seem to have different solutions!

** Tues 3rd Feb ** has anyone had any update??- no update from sky and when I phoned again today they were unable to advise or get a solution ?
