Paramount Plus

Up until this morning, Paramount Plus has been linked to my account via my Sky cinema subsciption. As of today, when I attempt to start the app I get an 'Uh-Oh' error, stating that they are working on fixing it. Also tried to reactivate the link through Sky myshop, but when accessing the activiation page, it states that page not found or has been removed. Is anyone else having issues with Paramoutn Plus?

I have this problem too, it's very frustrating. Did you manage to find a fix for it?

Weird, I just tried it on my Sky Q box and it was fine.

 

I checked Paramount+ help resources and there is nothing specific reported in terms of issues or ways to troubleshoot that message.

 

I would always recommend the usual in this type of scenario, see if one works before moving on to the next:

 

  1. Power cycle the Sky box (unplug for 5 minutes)
  2. Refresh apps (use forum search for instructions)
  3. Power cycle your hub/router

As with other posts, our Paramount + was working fine on Tuesday and we were getting the Oh oh message on Wednesday morning.  We contacted Sky and they are saying they have engineers working on the issue, but it is unlikely to be fixed until Tuesday 20th January 2026.  🙄 On the plus side, we are getting a month free Sky as compensation.

Thanks for the replies folks! Have tried the recommended actions of power cycling the Sky Q box, refreshing apps and resetting the router. Still however recieving the Uh-Oh error message. If Sky are looking into this, they gave no indication of that when i called yesterday. Will continue to monitor and if it persists will get back to them.

I to have paramount+ via Sky linked to sky cinema I just checked on my other devices I have it on a Amazon fire stick and iPad all using sky account and it works perfectly so what is the problem with it working on sky box

I want Paramount for the new Star Trek series, I've heard it's a bit good but I don't currently have Sky Cinema.

You could subscribe to paramount plus without subscribing to Sky cinema but you have to pay  about £4 a month subscription I think you can do that though Sky add to your subscription  or going paramount plus web  site and subscribing there either way you could still watch it on your Sky box though paramount plus app

It's not even a bit Star Trek let alone good.

I've now seen these reports across Q, Glass and Stream, but it clearly isn't affecting everyone which makes it hard to diagnose I suspect.

We get the Paramount with Sky cinema and pay £3 month for ad free, it won't connect with Sky, as the OP and also I can't log onto Paramount on  my iPad, as it wants me to pay for a plan and no option to log in with Sky. The iPad app had signed me out.

Thanks for commenting. Definitely a sky issue in my opinion. Spoke to Paramount and they comfirmed that the link from Sky to activate membership had expired. Sky operator (who to be fair was less than convincing) could only confirm that my Sky cinema was active but couldn't diagnose the Uh-Oh error message. Very frustrating.

Thanks, I'm thinking of cancelling the extra £3 sub if its not up in the next couple of days. As a last resort to watch Landman finale, I signed up to the Amazon Prime Paramount which gave a free week and didnt need a Paramount log in as it comes through Prime.  It's all very annoying and seems there can't be many people affected as I can't find anything really on the internet about it.  Not sure when mine went off as I hadnt't watched it since about Tuesday or Wednesday.

Ours went off sometime between Tuesday night and Wednesday lunchtime. We have spent hours on the phone to sky being passed from pillar to post before eventually being told it was an app problem. We were told to wait until Tuesday before contacting them again as it should be resolved before then. She has also lodged a complaint but I have not received any emails re same. 🤯🤯

Having watched the Landman finale earlier on my Sky Q box, I concur that it isn't widespread @CSH123456, which is a nightmare for those affected because it is likely a harder fault to diagnose.
