Paramount Plus Error code 3304

We are currently unable to watch paramount + as we get error "sorry but due to licensing restrictions this video isn't available in your location error code 3304". I have restarted sky q box. No joy. I have updated the software to latest version, and restarted to update. No joy. No errors detected on internet. This seems to work for some users but not me. Any ideas?

@MarkPint are you using a VPN at all with you internet


I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

I do use a VPN for a work laptop, but only the laptop uses it

What are you trying to watch? I'll see if I can replicate then we can check versions.

I can't replicate this fault.

 

What app version is running? Mine is 2.11.0-rc.5.

 

Check in Settings > Support in the app itself.

I'm not sure the error message makes any sense on a TV connected device as it says it is web related.

 

Have you reached out to Paramount+ themselves? Are you running a VPN at all?

I reached out to sky support twice. I'm 8 days in waiting for their 'back office' team to contact me as apparently we have tried everything to resolve it. 

 

I'm guessing my IP is blocked by paramount for some reason, but it's provided by Sky. 

 

I can use paramount on the internet on my work vpn, but not from the sky box outside if the VPN. I did try restarting the router to get a new IP but no success. Maybe sky will phone, but at this point, I doubt it.

Received e-mail stating Paramount+ was cancelled but I didn't cancel it

Just finished work and saw an e-mail saying I had cancelled Paramount+ (this is included with my Sky Cinema subscription) but I have done no such thing. Tried the app and it still plays. Had a look at My Products on Sky Q and says it was cancelled and I can resubscribe. Has anyone else had something like this happen?

This isn't one I've seen before. The only thing I can think of is about how Sky now provides the basic ad plan, perhaps this was a side effect of the plan changing. I assume resubscribing via Sky is still free?

Not sure what this has got to do with Sky Go, which is the board you have posted this on.

 

I'd suggest rebooting the device along with your router by turning them off at the plug for 10 minutes.

My IPs not blocked as I can access via Wi-Fi from an iPad using same router as sky q box. Struggling to get any useful support from sky on this issue. Really frustrating.
