PARAMOUNT PLUS RATINGS MESSAGE

Every time I watch anything on paramount plus I get the annoying ratings message on the top left of screen this is usually accompanied by slight buffering but the most annoying part it dimms the picture for the duration of the message plus an extra 5 seconds 

 

,  what if anything will be done about this as its making rhe service practically unwatchable

The community posts about the paramount plus age restriction bar have all been removed.

Can anyone shed light on how to stop then coming up every 2 mins?

Age restriction warning bar on Paramount + 

it's extremely distracting as it causes the screen to darken for 5-10 seconds every few minutes. while the banner just sits there all the way through the programe. 

is there a way to remove it, so as to be able to watch the programe without it being distrupted ?

I downloaded Paramount plus tonight and during the film we chose to watch  we were constantly interrupted by the ratings message appearing.  The Sky forums have deleted these threads so it is impossible to get a simple answer - is there a fix or is this a glitch?  I turned off parental controls and performed a re-boot but still had the problem.

There doesn't seem to be a solution. 

I've seen one response is to do with the way sky delivers it to customers.

Too techie for me, but apparently if you watch it through apple TV or other services it doesn't have the same problem. 

So we, as sky customers, are getting poor service but can't do anything about it!

Fair comment @CP2 but not really noticed it whilst watching Paramount+ via Sky Q

Haven't noticed anything different using the Paramountplus app on my tv or FireTv stick

This is a massive issue for me

Sky q 1tb main box rating banner appears twice in an hour. Sky q mini box every 30 seconds 

 

Sky have had threads for years in this issue but still no resolve now all previous threads also seem to have been deleted 

 

 

Steps I've taken to try resolve but to no avail

 

Factory reset both boxes 

 

Direct connection to router via ethernet (500mbps broadband) both boxes 

 

Force refresh all apps 

 

Update both boxes to latest firmware 

 

Disabled 2.4ghz wifi to force connection to 5ghz 

Disabled 5ghz wifi to force connection via 2.4ghz 

 

Signed out of paramount plus and re signed in on both boxes 

 

This issue does not occur direct through app on lg tv or apple tv or via laptop only on sky q

 

Sky please help

Hi there,  had the exact same problem and it was driving me crazy. I found that if you turn off Auto-Play in the settings stopped it completely. Hope it helps.

Just tried an unfortunately it didn't work.  Seems like a Sky issue, needs sorting considering half the stuff i used to watch is now on P+
