Old box collection?

A while back i got a new box delivered whilst they were fixing the cables, and the engineers told me someone from sky would contact me about coming to collect the old box. Never heard anything, nor had any requests to send it anywhere. Can I just take it to be recycled?

Hi @guypakeman1   What is the box? For example a Sky+HD box or a Sky Q box.

Hi @guypakeman1 

All Sky Q boxes are Sky property and must be returned to Sky or non return charges will apply.

Sky+ HD boxes are not Sky property and can be kept or disposed of however you wish.

If it is a Sky Q box you need to check with Sky directly and get information and a definitive request for it's return.
