My sky Q is saying there is no signal 

  • what angle does the sky dish have to be and does it have to be exactly set

Hello, you will need to request an Engineer visit to check your setup. They have a device which is used to align the position of the dish and cannot be done by eye.

You'll have to call Sky for that.
