Ive a new LG C3 OLED and have a couple issues.
Ive split my HDMI from my 1Tb (Has UHD) skyQ box to the LG and another TV but can only receive HD on both not UHD on LG.. When i disconect other TV and bypass Soundbox all is fine and receive UHD. Any thoughts or will i need a 2nd Mini hub to old TV?
Whic is best - LG HDMI ARC to soundbox, LG Optical to Soundbox or Optical direct from SkyQ hub to soundbox?

Hi @PetePP I have Sky Q connected to Sky Soundbox then Sky Soundbox connected to HDMI 1 on LG tv I don't use HDMI ARC as my Firestick uses that one.
Then optical cable from LG tv into Sky Soundbox for external devices Firetvstick PS4.
No issues with UHD

I think there may be a few expensive splitters that may allow UHD to work with SKy Q but the majority will cause it fail the handshakes needed especially when not all are 4K capable.

Uhfortunately I believe the Soundbox does not have ARC so this may not work.

You're kidding me! How does it handle audio for TV content like streaming apps? Optical from the TV?
edit: yeah seems you're absolutely right. What a bonkers decision.

As @nigea99 says - definitely no ARC with the Sky soundbox and yes, it makes use of the optical output for TV apps.
I've always thought that within its specification, Devialet's build quality of the Sky soundbox is very good- but other than very early firmware upgrades (around 2018) there have never been any upgrades / enhancements.
So it is what it is - no ARC and no way of reproducing Dolby Atmos.
I still use and enjoy mine but it won't do everything some will need it to do.

Probably contributed to its relative lack of success, which led to it dropping from the Sky product line c2020.
Perhaps worth considering that the Soundbox was launched in late 2017, which I think makes it the last product release before the bidding war and Comcast acquisition, and means its development would have been during the attempted Murdoch takeover (which was eventually blocked by UK government) so senior executive attention may have been elsewhere.
