No signal issue

I recently got a new box, and it seemed to work okay once the sky engineer installed it properly. He replaced the box again and told me it was better, but not a lot of my channels have no satellite signal. Its a communal dish, so an engineer won't touch it. What can I do?

@MikeC90

As you have a communal dish you need to report it to your landlord / building management team.

Re: No signal issue

Could it be a box issue? I got a new box on Wednesday, and it worked fine, then he replaced the box again today, and that's where the problems start. I'd say 70% of my channels just have a blue no signal screen

Hi @MikeC90

Have you checked that the LNB type in your Q box hidden menu is set to SCR ?

Re: No signal issue

Hi, yeah is set correctly, my first box was stuck updating, box no.2 was self installed and then once that setting was changed it worked great (a couple of channels a little distorted, but livable) box no.3 (that was swapped during the engineer visit) just has a blue screen and 'this channel is currently affected by a problem with your satellite signal' I understand the message, but I don't understand why the same channels worked fine with box number 2 🤦🏼‍♂️. So BBC works fine, ITV none of them work, All sky channels don't work (movies, max, showcase. Etc...) I'm just baffled

Re: No signal issue

In addition, if I unplug then plug back in, it works for around 2-3 minutes, then the problem starts again, so I'm inclined to think it's not the satellite, more the box
