No signal / 3 week wait and issue with sky q mini box

Tell you what I hate sky right now

i have a dish falling off the wall but I need to wait 3 weeks for an engineer , I have issues with my mini bow which whenever you press any button on the remote it turns the mini box off ...

right shambles of a company can't wait till my contract is done I should never have renewed it ...

You can pay a local firm to fix it quicker if you like.

Once you're up and running you can ask Sky for a credit for the affected period.  (But it's not their fault your dish was damaged)

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

@Erchie84

Although Sky will repair or replace the dish free of charge the ownership of the dish actually transferred to the householder once installed.

I'm well aware of that... I'm also well aware that the last visit the engineer told me there was only one bracket holding the dish to the pole as the previous engineer cut the pole... the engineer put another clamp on the pole but didn't replace the shortened cut pole, hence my tone ... if it was done and fitted cores in the first place I wouldn't be here moaning

As suggested by @PandJ2020 you could engage a local satellite company which may be quicker but would be at your own expense.

A number of Sky satellite engineers were made redundant last year and those remaining are probably still catching up from the two storms.
