After tv been on some hours, I am informed it will turn off in so many seconds so press ok button, there isn't one on skyQ remote, tried all buttons so the tv ends up having to be turned off and on again so spoiling programme

Many thanks for suggestions. I tried the volume button but no joy so tried the Samsung remote home button and it worked.

hi @Susancarol
this will be your TV
You might need to use the TV remote but I find that just pressing the volume up/down keys on my SKY remote gets mine to clear the message
(TVs are likely to want to go to sleep as we tend to just interact with the KSY Q box rather than the TV itself)

Hi @Susancarol You should be able to adjust the timeout in the TV settings. If you let us have the make and model we may be able to help you. Out of interest, have you tried the volume buttons (this tells the TV you are still watching).
