No network connection

my SKY Q box seems to disconnect from the internet very often, with no loss of internet with other devices, sometimes switching on the SKY Q box it says no internet connection, and I go through the reset procceedure to get it back on, then occassionaly whilst watching something it says streaming unavailable at the moment and the SKY Q box has disconnected from the internet again and I have to go through the reset procceedure again missing half the program that I was watching. ( football matches on the 'RED' button) HELP PLEASE anybody??

Hi @Steve26dt309

First reset your broadband router.
If on Sky broadband hold the Reset on the back of the router until the power light flashes green (about 10 seconds). Don't unplug or switch off your router while it resets. The power light will go green when it's done.
If on 3rd party broadband and your router does not have a reset button, reboot it by disconnecting the power lead for 30 secs and then reconnecting.
Wait until the router is completely back and running and then try a Network Reset found in Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect by WiFi to your router. Even if reset is not listed there is still an option to connect by WiFi to Sky or 3rd party router
If you are on Sky Broadband you will be asked to press the WPS button on the Sky router. (Not on the Q box as the Network reset will start the main Q box WPS automatically). Make sure you press the WPS button on the Sky router and not the reset button.
if you are on 3rd party (non Sky ) broadband then you need to enter the SSID and password for the router 2.4 Ghz WiFi band.

Re: No network connection

Have tried full rset on router, and sky Q box, but to no avail, it is still disconnecting from the internet although other devices in the same room are still connected to the internet, ie phones and tablets, it's only the sky Q box that's diconnecting or losing the internet

Re: No network connection

I'm having the exact same issue. All of a sudden the wifi dropped out, did a reset and still wouldn't connect, then as I was sat looking at the setup page you could see it all ticks, the a x then ticks. Attempted a software update but that doesn't seem to be working. Has been fine for months. No issues at all. And now this. Any help appreciated.
