New remote

My new remote is working on the skyQ but won't let me set up onto my tv

Thanks, but I tried that so so many times till I nearly launched the remote.  I ended up rebooting the whole SkyQ box (with the help of a Sky assistant, obviously 🙄) So much for turn it off and turn it back on again

Hi @Fred+Chez 

With the Q box on with green led try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

I ordered a new sky Q remote over a week ago and haven't received it it's for my main sky Q boxz

They are sent via Royal Mail so you're waiting on the postal service. 

It may be quicker to purchase a new remote from a retailer / larger supermarket. If you do that as well you’ll have a spare.

In the meantime if you have an android or Apple device with Sky Go you can possibly set up a virtual remote to control your Sky Q box. See this link which may help
