Virtual Sky Q Remote - Now Available on Sky Go!

No matter the reason, we've got you covered with a new update to Sky Go, which includes a virtual Sky Q remote! With the recent updates, we’ve now made it easier to access.
Please note: this feature is only available to customers using an Apple device with IOS version of 13 or above. Look out for further updates relating to Android in the new year.
What can I expect?

Customers can open a virtual Sky Q remote from inside the Sky Go app, allowing them to control their Sky Q or Sky Q Mini box

Now access via the Remote icon on the homepage or through settings

The default view is laid out similarly to the physical remote, but customers who have large text sizes enabled on their device will see a larger button view, as shown by the images above. With the new dark mode on Sky Go enabled, a higher contrast view is also shown.

Great for customers that have had a faulty remote replaced and are unable to use their Sky Q box
Where can I find it?
To access this, simply:
- Press the Remote Icon, located next to search on the top right of the homepage.
- Make sure your iOS device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Sky Q box.
- If multiple boxes are connected, you can switch between set-top-boxes through the settings icon on the remote page
- You can also change page views through the settings icon on the remote page.
