Hello
I have mentioned this before regarding black artifacts and blocking on my tv through sky Q,
I understand after getting support from this forum
that sky q being old now and newer televisions are more advanced that my budget samsung Q60D tv
will always show this,
so now i am buying a new tv, and would like peoples opinion of what to buy ?
not being really tech savvy, and really overwhelmed by all the new televisions it is hard to choose,
A friend reccomended 3 televisions, samsung S95, Sony bravia 9 or Sony bravia 8.11,
amy help offered would be greatly appreciated, i am looking at a 65 inch tv
Thanks

The Samsung s95d or f models are a good tv to have with SkyQ, I have the d model with excellent picture quality. The margins between them all in the recent hdtvtest shootout are small but the Samsung comes out slightly better in a bright room. and the best living room TV.
Really any choice is down to personal preferences.

Re: New TV
The Sony Bravia 8ii was recently crowned the best TV of 2025 after blind testing against the other main competitors. It's an excellent TV, very versatile, with stunning picture quality, far exceeding the technology in the decade old Sky Q hardware.
If I was in the market for a new TV and had the money that's the TV I would buy.
