NFL games or highlights not recording

Wondering if someone can help

I set the NFL opening game (Lions @ Chiefs) to record given the game was due to air at 1:20am UK time. Came down to watch the next day and it hasn't recorded. I set the highlights to record and it also didn't record, I've since tried recording the highlights 3 times and it still won't record. Everything else from NFL channel 407 is recording but not the games or the highlights. 

This is through the main box rather than streaming so can't understand why it isn't recording. It shows as due to record on planner but doesn't actually do it. 

Has anyone been able to successfully record the NFL game or highlights? Trying to work out if it's a rights thing that Sky dont have the rights to record the games. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated before the games today!

@Claire1390  Sky Glass/stream doesn't record, it adds the items to a playlist

You  go on to mention the main box then stream, so which system do you have as you've posted within the Sky Glass forum??

Do you know why I'm not able to record the NFL games or highlights?

Same issue here and it's driving me nuts. I have set the live games, the highlight programmes and the Bitesize programmes on my playlist and getting fed up with the programmes not being there to view. When you look at "on this week" the programmes show additional screenings but alas, these don't become available to view either.

using SkyQ but also find the same issue if you go into Sky Go on a tablet. Multiple programmes show On Demand but few if any can actually be played
