interrupted sky service

Since 10am the service on sky has been frequently interrupted and a service card message displayed.

 

I'm not the only person affected by this and I have restarted my Q box

Sky showing wrong movie

Currently watching Sky Comedy and it is supposed to be playing The Hangover.

I'm not sure w film is playing but it isn't the Hangover.. Also keep getting messages saying card is not inserted correctly. It is.. It's been removed and put back and a re-set has been done and it is still showing the wrong film and Im still getting the card message.

I have been having this issue all morning. I have noticed that when the error appears on screen, if I go to Settings/Status/Network connection - There is no connection to internet. However it refreshes and restores the connection and the picture comes back. 

 

Not ideal, but a work around until it gets fixed - atleast for me anyway.

Viewing card issues

Telly keeps going off with error message saying card not inserted properly have tried all the suggestions and problem persists it will reset but it is very annoying

Sky Q issues

Keeps dropping out, blue screen and message indicating problem with viewing card. Tried all the usual steps, works briefly then drops out again

Intermittent but frequent error message appearing

Trying to watch the cricket on Sky Sports on 401. The picture freeezes and error message "You cannot purchase this programme" appears with Press yellow button for help. BBC1 etc fine but other Sky Sports channels doing the same. I've tried changing channels and swithching back and also rebooting the Sky boxes (this is happening on bothj multi-room boxes). The picture returns for a period but the error message reappears shortly. If the channel is left on the programme returns after a whileon its own, then freezes along with the error message again. I phoned the help desk, and after a wait spoke to someone, was put on hold then they hung up. Not impressed.

Viewing card replacement

My father in law is having repeated issues with his viewing card. Can I order him a replacement without his account number His son does it all for him, but he is on holiday.

There are issues today with viewing card error messages. No need for a new card if it's that issue.

Just started to have this happen, watching something then a blue screen with message check viewing card, take it out and replace it.

Also alot of channels are either 1. showing teh same program 1 after the other OR 2. just showing adverts (same 3 or 4) OR totally showing differant programs than whats mentioned.

 

The halloween channel even came up with appologies but the advertised film has to be changed (went from the ring to after yen (or something) a PG fi8lm on a halloween horror channel (sky movies 302) sky movies 301 just showing the 1 film which is totally not advertised and many others all showing the wrong items.

Aky atlantic and sky max just showing adverts of teh same 3 or 4 ones) and i could go on. Even film4 although i think this is shoiwing teh right program it blue screens and says check viewing card along with several other channels).

 

What is going on here?

Yes, its alot of the channels not just comedy film chanel, all showing teh wrong film/program, or repeating teh exact same program or just showing adverts.

 

Was thinking something wrong on my side here but seems to be others as well
