No Sky channels at all

Repeated on screen message - To use this service you need to upgrade your subscription. We have Sky Sports as well as movies etc . Another message said the viewing card was not paired and another said  we had no broadband. Broadband is fine as is the satellite signal. I did eventually manage to communicate with a human who said Sky is aware of the problem for some subscribers and they are working on it.  They said it should be fixed within 24 - 48 hours.  I think this is pretty poor for such a large organisation, Sky Q is not cheap! Does anyone know any more about this
