Sky Q box cutting in and out, issue with viewing card.
Our Sky Q box keeps cutting out, either pauses TV or cuts out completely. The screen goes blue and we get a message saying
"Check viewing card correctly installed and chip is facing up"
we have removed and cleaned the card a number of times and refitted it but the problem still occurs, which is happening more regularly. Tried the service checker on the app but it says box is working correctly. I've tried to find the customer service number to talk to them but can't find anything on line just keep being redirected back to where I've started. Very frustrating

Re: Request to insert correct viewing card
I have the same issue except with the secondary box. Main box and tv working perfectly. Screen goes blue then asks to insert card. Tv then jumps back to programme. Get to watch two minutes then blue screen again. While watching volume goes. Ive done all the usual restart etc but this doesnt resolve it.

Re: My viewing card keep's dropping in and out.Would like an online chat if possible ?
Happening to me too this morning. Good to hear it's a general issue that Sky are aware of. After a couple of reboots, i've left the Master Box on Sky News Channel (501) and am able to watch the channel I want (408) on one of the mini boxes. So far, no further interruptions.
