I haven't been able to connect my sky q mini now for a week . Constantly says no signal. I've tried all the on line tools and recommended steps to reconnect but none of them have worked and do not respond
the box also seems exceptionally hot
I have rebooted the main box and my other Sky q mini is working fine
thanks

Hi @Jilly3
Have you carried out a Network reset on the problem mini?
Network Reset found in mini Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to WPS with main Q box.
You will be asked to press the WPS button on the main Q box (not the mini as the Network reset will start the mini WPS automatically).
You can use the first connected mini for WPS if nearer than the main Q box
If you are on Sky Broadband and the Router is nearer to the mini than the main box then you can try pressing WPS on the router instead of the main Q box.
Failing all of the above you may need a Sky Q WiFi Booster to position midway between your main Q box and the mini and you will need to contact Sky directly.

I have same problem. Minibox is connected to main Sky Q box, network connection is good. Been through all the resets. Tried updating software by the System Info screen and turning off then back on whilst holding box button, both say unsuccessful. Have a "Technical Fault" displayed now. TV guide is complete. Recordings are showing! Had issues with main box recently and engineer says due to 97% usage that's causing a problem. Was going to swap boxes but need to watch programmes first! Also tried connecting via wps and also cable. Not a network thing require booster, given it's connected to Internet. Baffled
