My satellite has been down for three nights now

My satellite has been down for three nights and I have no idea as to why. I have followed the steps provided online which wasn't at all helpful. Please can I speak to a professional

Are you seeing a "no satellite signal message"? If it displays no satellite signal take a look at the troubleshooting here
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-tv-no-satellite-signal-sky-q
It may then give you the opportunity to arrange an engineer to check the alignment of your dish. If you’re on a communal dish system in the UK you’ll have to contact your landlord or building management company rather than Sky.
