Good afternoon - I would like advice as to why this past few days sky is not recognising my Wi-Fi router. I have had to switch the sky box off re-set the password which works but before long I get the error message saying the Wi-Fi is not connected. There is nothing wrong with my router all my other devices recognise and connect but not sky Q. I checked my smart tv and that is connected ok to my router so the problem lies with sky not my broadband provider. I hope someone from sky can advise and before you say it yes I've switched everything off re-stared it works for a while but then the box loses connection. Thanks

If not, the Q will only connect over 2.4GHz (most devices will use 5GHz nowadays) and may require router configuration, e.g. disabling steering to 5GHz.

Hi @Finwhale
Have you carried out a Network reset on your main Q box exactly as follows:
Network Reset found in Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect by WiFi to Sky router.
As you are on Sky broadband you will be asked to press the WPS button on the Sky router. (Not on the Q box as the Network reset will start the main Q box WPS automatically). Make sure you press the WPS button on the Sky router and not the reset button.
