My remote partialy stopped working (1,2 and 3 button would not work) so I bought a new one. The new one will not pair with the mini box - I followed instructions it tries to pair but it just says 'unsuccesfull' I tried several times, holding it very close to infra red receiver - no difference. I tried connecting to main Q box and it had no problems. I tried a full reboot of mini box, leaving disconnected from mains for a few minutes. No change. It will work on infra red but I cannot use tv volume from there. I believe there is a problem with the blue tooth pairing on my sky mini box. Any ideas?

May I suggest you try a reset of your remote -you may have already tried this but all I can suggest you do try again:
Press & Hold the 7 & 9 until the remote's light (red LED above the SKY logo button) flashes 4 times
Then press 1 & 3 together to go through to re-pair with the box and your TV - make sure it has line of sight of the box as until it is paired it uses Infrared
I generally suggest using the 'Find it for me' option after selecting the TV manufacturer

If you can use your remote for voice commands after trying but still can;t operate the TV volume then t has paired with your SKY Q minii in bluetooth mode but there is a problem pairung with your TV
If you do still have problems we know selecting Vestel as the manufacturer works for some TVs as they produce TVs which are sold under other brands
