Sky remote only half works on mini box

I can't access my recordings on my mini box. The remote is only two months old and half buttons work/ half not . It is paired but I tried to pair again ...I coukd not proceed as the "enter( dot)" button does not work on remote.  I have unplugged the box also with no success.  Any ideas
