My Sky Q hard drive has stopped working
So my Sky Q hard drive started to maldunction a few days ago. It stopped several times during recorded playback. Then it stopped altogether and said there was a technical fault with "this channel". So we downloaded the programme instead, but soon enough, it did the same thing. Then the box froze. So I did several reboots, hard shut downs, and tried again. This time, it told me they're was a fault with the hard drive. So left it unplugged over night and today it has the same issue. The hard drive is faulty, and it won't pause or rewind, and won't load a recorded programme.

Try the troubleshooting here

unfortunately some of these faults will necessitate a box swap.

Re: My Sky Q hard drive has stopped working
Sky are likely to want to swap out the hardware by courier delivery (there's no attempt to repair such things on site) : be sure to remove the Viewing Card before handing the old box over.
