Unless you've disturbed the satellite inputs on the box then it's unlikely cleaning in itself would cause the issue with a satellite signal.
I would remove the 2 inputs, (they screw in/out) ensure they are sound (not wires loose etc.), reinsert them and power back up.
If that fails then you might need to call Sky to investigate the dish/cabling.
I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
