Multi room

Multi room box seems to be not working correctly. I have put new batteries in the remote and that's working fine but the box seems to have a mind of its own. When I press the remote to move on the ads to what ever I'm watching it's goes crazy and winds and rewinds itself . It takes some time to come on with the screen still black and I can hear the program, sometime the delay is to long . I've never had this problem before until about two weeks ago.

The main box in the living room is fine and everything is connected with the multibox. I've had this box for around 7 years .

I would appreciate if anyone could help me with this.

@Angiep77 the first thing to try is rebooting your main Q box ie
putting your box into Standby then switching it off at the wall for 30 seconds
switch it back on then follow the on screen instructions

then 

reboot the mini box

If that doesn't help then it does sound as though your mini might be right and the furthest distance it can be from the main box to receive a signal. In which case you may need to call Sky to get a signal booster between yuour main box and the mini box

Thank you for your help but I have a sky booster box next to it  already. I will try to reboot and see if it helps .

@Angiep77 If you already have a booster from Sky it should ideally be placed half way between the mini box and the main box or router if Sky is your broadband provider and the router is closer to the mini than the main box

Hi I have tried all the answers to help me to get my multibox working correct, but it's still the same unfortunately. Any one got any more suggestions please .

Hi @Angiep77   Just checking that you have your Sky booster active mid-way between your Main Sky Q box and Mini box and not next to it?

Yes I have a bungalow and it's in the hall way half way between my bedroom

I've only just started to have problems in the last two weeks after the 7 years of having the box .
