Moving sky q box

I'm recently moving front room around and wish to move my tv with the sky q box .....I want to move tv to other side of the room and want the cables tact to the wall (if you get what I mean) will sky charge? Do they even do this, I'm a sky vip customer so hoping this might be a perk lol any advice would be good thank you

Hi @jomouse68

Sky would do this but they would charge in the region of £65 I expect.

However you could easily achieve this yourself

Satellite extension cables kits are readily available on Internet retail sites.

Just look for Satellite Extension cables.

Just bear in mind that you need two cables with the necessary two F connector fittings..

Some come as as a pair or as a twin (shotgun) cable and include the two female F connectors.   However some are single cables where you need two.

Don't know what you mean by Everywhere @jomouse68 .

You said you wanted the cable fixed to the wall to your new location.

This could you could do yourself with extensions.

Re: Moving sky q box

I'm hopeless with things like that haven't got a clue ! I wouldn't be able to attach the cable to the walls etc

Re: Moving sky q box

I just wanted to check if you were able to get a Sky person to help with this? I'd happily pay someone to do it for me - don't think I could manage myself

Re: Moving sky q box

@Aideen+LK  I would suggest getting local handyman to do the tacking. Get the extension kit off ebay/amazon.

Should be cheaper  than sky
