Mini box won't connect properly

I can't get my second mini box to connect properly to the main box it it drops internet connection even though it's in the same room as my BT router. I need an engineer to sort this out, maybe need a Sky Q booster, how do I get an engineer? I've just spent another three or so hours trying to sort this out with rebooting, resetting, waiting, putting in my WiFi password God knows how many times

@nickireynolds In case you do not know your mini box won't connect to your BT router by wifi,  it needs to connect to your main Q box so when setting your mini up if it asks you to press the the wps button you need to press it on the main box.

This is due to having a third party broadband

Re: Mini box won't connect properly

Thank you but, yes, I realise that. Problem is that the wps is not managing to connect the main box to the mini box, I probably need a Sky Q booster although, funnily enough, the first box which is on the floor above connected with no problem

@nickireynolds I found with mine it can take a few tries to get them to connect through WPS

the other thing to try is see if you can move te mini box closer to the main box to get them to connect then move the mini box back to where you want it.

If it then loses connection then you may well need a Q booster.

Thank you, I'll see if I can move the boxes closer together
