Longer wire

Hello 

 

i need an engineer to come and make the wires form my satellite dish to my sky box longer

@Kieran+dillonIf an extension lead is not suitable Sky may do it but will rewire from the dish to the box at the new location as they will not join cables. Their standard charge is about £65, you may be lucky sometimes they don't charge.
However if you want more control of where the wires go, Sky will only surface wire and go the quickest route, as the dish and cable belong to you an independent aerial installer will do what you want BUT get a quote first.

Hi @Kieran+dillon 

Satellite extension cables kits are readily available on Internet retail sites.

Just look for Satellite Extension cables.

Just bear in mind that you need two cables with the necessary two F connector fittings..

Some come as as a pair or as a twin (shotgun) cable and include the two female F connectors.   However some are single cables where you need two.

If the extension leads aren't an option then call Sky to make an appointment - they may well charge though.
