I am moving home next home and was offered a 2TB sky box price was 99 quid. Is there any difference other than storage for recordings ? not sure if it is worth it although the extra space could come in handy - wondering what others think cheers. D.

hi @dino9898
It depends what box you currently have & which 2TB they are offering & whether you have a TV capable of UHD/HDR (& wish to pay for UHD)
Home - Settings - System Info - Hardware Version
If it is 32Cxxx then you have an older 1TB non-UHD Box (which only supports 1 mini active mini)
The following all support 2 active minis
If it is 32B0xxx then you have a (V1) UHD but non HDR 2TB Box
If it is 32B1xxx then you have a (V2) UHD HDR 2TB Box (which has a separate Power supply)
If it is 32B2xxx then you have a (V3) UHD HDR 1TB or 2TB Box

There should be no difference between a current (after November 2019) 1TB and 2TB box other than capacity.

Thanks I have UHD on my current box - Im thinking I will stick with what I have as not wanting to splash out another 100 quid for an extra 1TB Cheers.
