Long time SkyQ user with multi room and Sky Sports. 3rd party fibre broadband at 150Mbps. Am out of contract, know I am paying too much (£95). Can't face the phone call to haggle.
Am going away for a couple of months (holiday, not prison!) so am considering just cancelling the whole lot, saving nearly 200 quid and starting again on return.
So what will happen?
I might get a decent offer during the 31 day cancellation period?
My dish, main box and mini box remain in my home, service disabled the day I leave if I time it right?
On my return I will be considered a returning, rather than new, customer (and hence no fab deals)?
I could try Sky Stream for a month on return, and return to Q if I (or the missus) doesn't like it?
I will get the chance to haggle a price when I re-sign?
If I really hate it I could look at Now TV or other options?
Have I got that right, or does anybody have any suggestions as to how i could maximise this opportunity?
Much appreciated

Not straightforward unfortunately.
If you cancel all Q equipment has to returned to Sky (not the satellite Dish though).
You wouldn't be able to sign up again as a new Q customer until 18 months has passed I believe.
Probably best to speak directly to Sky to discuss your options.
