I subscribe to Sky Sports as well as the Sky Sports HD pack. I am able to view the Sky Sports channels in HD except for SKY Sports News and Sky Sports Mix. When I called SKY I was offered all HD channels free for 2 months after which I would have to pay around £9 per month. So effectivelyy after 2 months I will be back to square one as I cannot afford the extra £9 nor do I want all the HD channels. All I want is to have ALL the SKY sports Channels in HD which is something I am actually paying for. Has anyone else encountered this issue and know how SKY can resolve this issue for me?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHi @CajM I don't know about your two channels but not all sports channels are part of the Sky Sports package. They belong to the Entertainment or Signature packages, which has a separate HD subscription at £9 a month. The in contract price is normally £5.

Hi @CajM
On Sky Q Sky Sports channels are in HD as standard. However for historic reasons the Sky Sports HD pack is always listed separately in your package.
Also in the ROI the terms are different and Sky Sports HD is at an extra charge.

Thanks @MightyQuinn. So although I think Sky Sports News and Sky Sports Mix are 'Sports' Channels SKY may not class them as part of the Sports Pack that I subscribe to. It's a shame the agent I spoke to was not aware of this otherwise he could have confirmed which pack they were part of.
