I keep getting my_sky 2998 error code when trying to activate paramount+

I keep getting my_sky 2998 error code when trying to activate paramount+. I have seen a few threads that have been unhelpful even after trying suggestions. Anyone worked this out easily?

There's no need to activate Paramount+ on Sky+ boxes. You have access to the content as long as you subscribe to Sky Cinema.

On Sky+

Sky+ customers with Sky Cinema will see Paramount+ TV shows and movies available on their Sky box. They aren't able to sign up to the app.

 

Want the full Paramount+ experience? You'll need to upgrade to Sky Q, Sky Glass or Sky Stream.

Thanks for such quick reply. I have SkyQ. I think you are saying if a paramount+ film/series is on I will just see it and be able to click - is that right? If so - I dont see any.

 

I just thought I would be able to log into the full app via Sky following Sky advice. That just doesnt seem to work.

 

I may call the support unless anyone can point my stupidty / errors out :} but thanks for responding

No, you have to register for Paramount+ on Sky Q.

 

I assumed you had Sky+ as that's where you posted. I'll move your thread to the Sky Q forum where other Community members will try to help.
