I've had a Q box for many months and have never worked out how to access the MY5 channel.

The My5 app isn't available on Sky Q but you can access a lot of it by going to Home, Catch Up TV, Channel 5.

I’m afraid you are not contacting Sky Customer Services on here. This is a customer to customer forum where we try to help each other.
My5 or channel 5? Have you followed the advice previously provided by @xenon81

Seriously? My5 app works on my old LG TV but not on more modern Sky Q box?
Jeez.....

I find it very disappointing that I can't view My5 any more, now that I have a Q box. I missed the first episode of a series several weeks ago, (I prefer to binge watch) and there is no way to watch it now. With other channels l can watch a lost episode via their streaming service.

What did you have before that enabled you to use the My5 app & is there any reason you can't use it ?

Yes I guessed as much but let's face it this is childish petty behaviour between the service providers over a service that is free across every smart TV on the market today. The customer has to put up with these stupid shortcomings because they can't be bothered to reach a common sense agreement. Always £££££ before customer service.

Just come to search for myfive now and find if you upgrade to sky glass you can get it but it does not list in the apps for sky q.
So a free channel is only available if you pay Sky more money than you are paying already?
Is that the nub of it?

Which programme are you looking for? Although the My5 app isn't on Sky Q, most of the programmes can be accessed in the Channel 5 catch up section.

@Mags2202 the problem is that Sky will not have an agreement with the CH5 to use the app on Q whether that has something to do with Sky or whether it is some problem from CH5 we would be guessing
