How to reboot Sky Q box without wall access

Hi all,

every so often I have to perform a reboot of the sky q box as it goes blank and nothing seems to correct it.

the issue is, my wife demanded that we have a 'media wall' so that all the cables and sky box itself it behind the tv and behind a further 30 screws which is quite annoying.

I'm sure I used to be able to trick the box into a reboot by changing some settings like UHD etc but I cannot find any settings which reboots the system for me.

does anyone know a way of pushing the box into a reboot using the remote without me having to take the big tv off the wall and having to unscrew/re screw?

Hi @DanielY82   use a smart plug, I use Tapo P110 which also monitors the energy used.

Thanks - hadn't thought of that and will definitely be getting one to help this issue going forward!

if anyone has any tips in the short term to reboot until I get one, I'd be really appreciative!

I'm not aware of anyway to restart Sky Q without turning it off at the mains. Of course, you could always trip the main circuit breaker, but that sounds a bit drastic!
