Being cynical, is Sky just trying to get customers to purchase Glass TV so ITVX not being made available on Sky Q box? Thought it was being made available from8th December, but here we are, 23rd December and still not available
Please can I refer you to my post no 129 on here

December 8th was the (delayed) launch date chosen by ITV: they had originally intended the new app to be available in time for the start of the World Cup.
As referred to several times in this thread, historically Sky has never permitted code changes to its platforms in December because it's a considerable challenge to provide support to even a tiny percentage of millions of users over the holidays.

@SandieGreg the app is free on other devices I'm not going to buy a Sky Glass TV just for itvX
It's beginning to look like Christmas or more like April Fool

Do you have the ITV Hub app - if so have tried it - my Panasonic TV & Firestick still show it as ITV Hub although it is ITV X

ITV are promoting their new app while knowing very well it hasn't yet been released on the largest Sky platform: that's the choice of the ITV Marketing Department.

Agree totally. Diamond customer 18 years. Full package. But now losing services like ITV hub. And long standing series like Greys, 911, NCIS and numerous others to Disney. Will reconsider my subscription when it comes to renewing. Paying for "everything " doesn't mean I am getting it.

@PRITCHARD.R2 how do you know that you aren't getting it just beacause it's not on Sky Q doesn't mean it's not there. So what have you done about whatever you are paying for and not getting let me know and I can point you in the right direction

Realistically the fullest possible Sky package no longer comes close to covering 'everything' and never will. The global television market has moved on from there and won't be going back.

Have you got a smart TV @Butterfly+Ball ?
Many models now can get the itvX App (my LG recently got it, so I just there if I want it)

I also asked if @Butterfly+Ball LG TV was connected to the internet
Really the itvX doesn't need to be installed even though the app has been available for my 2018 model since 16th December 2022 it has recently been removed for educational purposes.
The itvX app is accessed via my TV's web-browser and the only app I have installed on my TV which gives me itvhub/itvX is via Explore Freeview Play app maybe someone with an LG TV or other brands could try the other methods and post their findings
But we don't want to explore other alternatives why the need for Sky Q when other options available is beyond me.
