Have sky q snd thought netflix was free but cant set up as it wants to charge me

@Trevorjohn_77  Which base package do you have signature or ultimate ? Only ultimate carries Netflix standard with ads for free any other Netflix tier will require payment

Q (as a hardware platform) does not intrinsically include Netflix.

It's the subscription you have that defines what channels and apps you can access.  Sky do offer Netflix bundled with base packages but, as above, it all depends on what you have.  Likewise, Signature (current base packages) does not include Netflix in itself.

Sky Signature does not include Sky Ultimate, so No, Netflix is not free.

The Ultimate Pack on Sky Q (which in effect is only Netflix) is an add-on to Signature.

On Sky Q  Netflix with ads is not free and never has been,it would be shown on a bill as the Ultimate tv pack which is £4.50 per month at the moment and will be £5.50 from April.  This ultimate tv pack should not be confused with the ultimate pack that is on Sky stream & Glass and that systems entertainment package and which dose include Netflix with ads in that  package without extra cost.

This is the sky post from a sky employee that clearly states the sky signature does include sky ultimate tv;

That probably isn't the best laid out article as it gives the wrong impression that Ultimate TV is part of Sky Signature when as stated above it is not. Sky Signature is the basic TV package and that the next step up is the Ultimate one as this is the same as Signature but with Netflix and now Disney included.

That article is also out of date as it mentions the Entertainment package which was discontinued a number of years ago.

It's a poorly worded article as it also clearly states that Ultimate is an optional add-on to Signature.

The answer is the same.  Signature in itself does not include ultimate (Netflix).

Sky did various promotions of the pair together but it you only have Signature in your subs then you don't get NetFlix.
