HD gone

Why are Sky charging me for HD channels now? Been a customer for 24 years???

What do you mean by your thread title - HD gone? 

HD costs more than SD to broadcast which has been discussed many times on the forum.

Sky have always charged for HD channels.

My HD channels I now have to pay a subscription,whereas before I could just watch them.

As stated by @oj01 the HD add-on has always been chargeable. It's not new.

Various 'free-to-air' channels do not require the HD pack.  However, many other channels do.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
