I want to go from watching, say, ch.237 to the guide and it'll show channel 237. It now goes to 101. And ut tajes lots of clicks to get there.

That's how it was designed. I believe it is possible to display the epg starting from the channel you are watching but it's not necessarily simple. Press 'Select' then the 'right direction' button several times and then choose 'TV Guide'. Personally I haven't tried this for years,

Re: Guide goes to 101
hi @Cuilchick
As @Daniel0210 says you cannot change it & can use the cluncky method he describes.
We do recommened that you set up your most used channels as favourites, this way you can see them grouped together & withonly a few f clicks get to them (I have always wished we could set these as the default)
Using Favourites also makes it easier to remember channel numbers and less clicks to select them to watch (1-9 being a single click)
Also, when in the TV guide you don't need keep clicking to scroll but tab right to be in the guide & then you can just key the channel number (which can also be in the favourites)

Re: Guide goes to 101
Many thanks guys. Appreciate the speedy responses (you can tell I have just joined the Sky arena because, being a newby, I wasn't allowed to correct my mistakes in my question). I don't think any tv guide is 100% what a person wants - various tv/box combinations have given me different expectations. Hope I get used to Sky's clunky ways.

Re: Guide goes to 101
BTW @Cuilchick I should mention that , unfortunately, the Favourites I mention have to be set up on each box & you cannot copy from another which is a bit of a pain but setting them really does help
